Hi, I’m Eiriel
A London-based Creative specialising in Product Design. I’ve has worked with high-profile clients to elevate their services and bring human-centred design to the heart of the end-to-end experience.
I’ve also helped startups to develop brand & marketing strategies that would prepare them during investment rounds and bring Design Thinking principles and methodologies to create intuitive experiences ready for product launch. My passion for helping startups has resulted in co-founding a small studio, Haus of EL to continue on helping smaller businesses outside my usually 9-to-5.
Currently, I am working at Guardian Angel, opening the conversation and helping people to prepare before and after death across England and Wales. Before I dove into the exciting world of startups, I was working at Brilliant Basics (now "WONGDOODY”), an Innovation Studio by Infosys that focuses on helping organisations achieve measurable success through "brilliant" digital products and simple, innovative, and affective experiences.
When I’m not online, you’ll usually find me sitting in a cafe either reading fantasy books, playing video games, Magic: The Gathering or Dungeons & Dragons.
My Creative Outlets
I identify as a Product Designer by craft – but I’ve always battled between mastering one vs being a “generalist”. After working in agencies and startups, I’ve found real value and enjoyment in dabbling in other areas outside Product Design and it has really come in handy with projects and clients.
These are a couple of practices that I feel the most proficient in and enjoy the most amongst other things.
My Creative Process
Throughout my creative process, it’s always important to keep the users at the forefront of the creative process – but it’s also noteworthy to keep the conversions for business in mind (especially for smaller businesses) for a better-optimised experience as a result.
User experience can be a fairly subjective matter and it certainly varies for every individual. Empathizing with the users will help me understand their perspective to solve problems.
Empathy
When it comes to all aspects of design, less is more. Eliminating unnecessary jargon, products will result to better usability, consistency and strive for enjoyable experience for users.
Less Is More
Maintaining open communication with my team helps me to understand their exciting and insightful points of view. This will allow me to deliver optimised and realistic solutions.
